So I read a lot of articles in magazines, books, and online pretty often. This month in Maximum Fitness, they had a very short article saying to try "Ginger" as an anti inflammatory supplement. I believe it said to take 250-500mg of ginger extract after a hard work out to cut down on some soreness. And considering that I also read an article a year or so back in Muscle & Fitness that said taking acetominophen or ibuprofen will actually hinder your gains, this might be a great idea.

Yes, ginger has a mild anti inflammatory effect. It also has a mild anti nausea effect which can be essential if you train hard enough. And it has a mild fat burning effect, but not quite enough to be measured on it's own.

Ginger is a great natural product!

Shown in studies to reduce inflammation and lessen arthritic pain, it has over 480 components to it and it i love the stuff!

go to super human radio and carl lanore has a couple of radio pod casts about ginger. the effects of Gingerols etc (which is now being isolated and abused by the pharma companies who sell a synthetic version for a ridiculous amount of money over i the US....and OR canada)

In one of the pod casts he has his brother in law on who used Ginger extract and saw a tumour disappear. He is not the only one, Carl even has derek anthony using the stuff and he says his Doctor as assured him that his liver tumours have shrunk considerably since he been using the extract and changed his lifestyle a bit.
