What do you think to the "raw food vegan diet" ? It looks quite interesting and the results some of the people are getting are amazing to say the least, but I would be interested to hear your views on it

Raw food vegan diet... hmm. LOL

You can try it, me... I love my MEAT!
A big thick juicy grass fed, grain finished black angus steak... done nice and medium rare, to bloody rare sizzling on that grill... oh yeah grill it on some real wood charcoal too... great flavor. Just a dash of salt n pepper. Serve with a baked potato, butter and some steamed broccoli, can't beat it. Yep, sit down... loosen your leather belt and eat up. Real man's food.

Vegetarian stuff... you can save that for the emotional children, it's not for me.

I certainly wouldn't do it all the time. But as part of a nutrition plan it has it's place. ChefX talks about a juicy steak. Well, fine, eat that for one meal. For a few other meals why not make a "raw veggie shake". Cucumber, avocado, protein powder (hemp/rice/pea), apple, green powder, ginger, spinach (and anything else in the fridge). That is how I start 3-4 days in a week and I feel great for it. Wash it down with some green tea or herbal tea on these cold mornings and you're good to go. Ooo, and add in some oils like olive oil. Maybe even mix in left over porridge for some extra carbs. It's better than you'd think.

I think if you're ill/diseased then going raw vegan is a good idea. Once better then add in other foods. For getting big & ripped then it would be very difficult to do imo.
