Default Muscle imbalance - 08-25-2008, 11:01 AM

I've got a much bigger right forearm than my left, i think its down to using a favorite hand for wanking

Only joking

However, my right delts seem to quite a bit larger than my left. What can be done to bring some symmetry back? Or should i just continue to build and always pose on the side of my biggest shoulder?

Just done a weeks worth of bodyweight stuff so back in the gym tomorrow. Start with 2-3 full body workouts of non max weight training. Then back into proper training as i got a new job which means i can refocus back on training again and bring sexy back

13 weeks out of proper training so lets bring on some muscle memory

Are you competing? Or just trying to look good and be very healthy?

If competing it can be as simple as using dumbbells (properly) and adding in 1 more rep for the weak sized side.

If your training is about health and function IMO use dumbbells and force both sides to do the same amounts.


the problem is the human body isn't always symmetrical. You could be born with more of one fiber on one side than another, developmental habits ect ect. This would be a benefit in the real world of combat as finesse with one and strength the other or static versus... well you get the idea.

next time you are looking at porn realize that even womens breasts are different sized one side to teh other.

No chance of me competing, i'm not brave enough to be up on stage in a posing pouch

I'll have to go back and read your advice as i just keep thinking of breasts now

well it is a steroid hormone, it does a lot for muscle, and you can feel the effects the day you receive enough sunlight
